"This Mo-Pac modern brick structure was built sometime during the 1950's. Missouri Pacific now Union Pacific had plans to donate the depot to the city of Jacksonville for a musuem, but a UP ex-MoP manger dispute with a city and the Jacksonville Police Department about a police officer writing a ticket on a train that was blocking all the downtown streets lead to a 5am demolishion of the station on March 15, 1985.

UP has now a trailer house and two old 20ft containers sitting on the site now. "
