"Originally it was the I&GN Railroad who put in the rail line in 1903, when Maypearl was founded. The original station was located on the southwest corner of FM 66 and First St.
After it was moved it was used as a scale house for the Gin in town. You can see the scale in front on the picture. The gin is closed now so I believe it is abandoned or used for storage."
