"Built around 1903, the Scottsville station was closed by T&P in 1957. Later sold to an indulviual in Henderson, the owner moved alot so would his station. Till one day, the housemover that was contracted to move it for the past few years bought the station from the original owner.

Sometime in the mid 90's, the housemover sold the depot to Gaylon Rains, the current owner of the Scottsville depot. Mr. Rains restored it back what the station would look like back in the late 40's - early 50's. It will house his offices and internet network."
